Situated between the Gola and Sharda rivers in the Haldwani sal forest region of 269.96 km square, Nandhaur wildlife sanctuary of Uttarakhand was set up in 2012. Nandhaur wildlife sanctuary is a connection between the Bramhadev and Sukhlaphata Wildlife Reserves of Nepal and the western woods of Ramnagar and the Terai focal timberland division in India.
